After Hours Big Band

A long-time part of the music scene in York Region, the After Hours Big Band is a group of experienced musicians presenting the timeless sounds of the big bands. The 17-piece band performs many of the classics as well as modern arrangements of swingin’ songs.

An After Hours concert offers a range of moods, colours and tempos from five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones and a four-piece rhythm section. You’ll hear inventive solos and exciting ensemble work with irresistible rhythms.

The band is available to play for both public and private venues including dances, outdoor concerts, music fests and other gatherings.

The Newmarket-area musicians play for fun, enjoy being together and always show their audiences a good time.
